Healthy sleep is increasingly recognized as a cornerstone of mental wellness. The need for highly trained behavioral sleep medicine providers has never been greater. CBT-I and other behavioral sleep medicine interventions are not one-size-fits-all treatments, and consultation is often recommended to ensure treatments are being provided optimally and safely.
Additionally, if you are a clinician seeking the Diplomate in Behavioral Sleep Medicine (DBSM) through the alternate track, you will need 250 hours of documented BSM clinical experience in consultation with a licensed and board-certified clinician. Clinical hours completed with my consultation would meet this requirement.
Consultation can be provided weekly or monthly, in individual or group formats. For groups, you can opt to bring your own members to the group (a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 5), or join a group that I create as individuals request group sessions. Once there are enough requests, I will contact you to see if you are ready to start and find an agreed-upon meeting time. Please note that there may be a wait until there are enough clinicians who request a group and who can meet at the same time.
A consultation agreement can be found here. If after reviewing it you would like to pursue consultation, please email me at info@elainebolandphd.com.
